Folks,

Have just received word that the WA Coroner (as WA will be the most likely point of entry) has given approval this morning for the full repatriation of the remains of Lieutenant Keith Ambrose Hudson and Private Bob Moncrieff.

Lieutenant Hudson and Private Moncrieff, both of E Troop, 2 SAS Squadron, drowned in the early hours of the 21 March 1966 while attempting to cross the Sekayan River in the vicinity of Kampong Entabang, 6,000 meters west of Serankang, Borneo.

Army has been working on these cases since 2007 and it is another job well done, after so many years.

A great start to 2010.

Regards,

Jim

G'day Pom,

Well I am using the wifes e-mail tonight.
I had a look at the course 12 info provided below but unfortunatel only get the RAAF Crest, I did however find my course photo - but that's another story.

I have been looking through the web to try and find a photo but not having much luck.

I was wondering if you  may be able to assist with this. Maybe there is someone (you may know of ) out there who may have a photo of him. He was with 9SQN in Vietnam from 15 Oct 1970 - 14 Oct 1971. But any photo of him in his youth may be of assistance. I know I am asking alot but would be greatful if you may be able to assist.

I have placed my work email in the cc portion of the addressees.

Cheers

Louie

Hi Sambo

I am having some engineering work done by a chap named Fred Howie (ex RAAF fitter). Of course we got talking of things RAAF and he asked me if I knew what happened to a friend of his Rodney (Bodge) Davis , who was an engine fitter with 38 Squadron.

Do you know him, or maybe somebody who does?

Regards, Bob Winckel
