Dear All,

As a result of rumours circulating that the NSW Labor Party, if returned to government after the upcoming election, would discontinue motor vehicle registration etc concessions to qualified ex-service people, we asked the Premier’s Department for clarification.

The Premiers Department has given a written assurance that these concessions will definitely not be discontinued. They will continue exactly as before.

The Premier’s Department also advised us that a Veterans Affairs Policy Statement will be made by the NSW Labor Party closer to the 24th March election.

Yours sincerely,

Tim McCombe

President
