As you are aware I have recently returned from a visit to the NT where my son Ian
and I stayed with Jim Lange for a couple of days. The fishing was superb and a
fair amount of alcohol was washed down with mud crab and snapper.... No Barra
caught but everything else was great.............. Thought that you might like
a look at these. These were only a few of the total.............. pix.. Peter Beckwith Ian Beckwith Jim Lange |

A dose of the Crabs Some fellas have all the luck. |

G'day Pom, here's another pic from the MEAO. Regards to all and I hope you all had a great Anzac Day. Brash. |
Our loss of Don Smithers Don was one of natures gentlemen who was taken from us and his family last sunday evening. His funeral details have been posted on our Blue Beret index page for those who would like to attend and no doubt pay their last respects pity Perth is so far away to a lot of us. I recall meeting Don when i was first posted to RAAF Williamtown in 1968, where i stayed till posted to Vietnam. I have many happy memories of those days and i'm sure Don's included amongst them. I lost track of the old fella for quite a few years till our internet site got up and going and Don was quickly in the pit so to speak with regular emails and photo's, and when the reunion in Newcastle last year i seen him again and rekindled an old friendship that time and distance had mellowed. How i will miss you old mate. To all Don's family and friends our deepest sympthy and feelings. Your now in god's hands. The Pom and all your mates |
