Dear Pom ;;;;
Found this photo , maybe you want to show anyone thats interested. Im sure you know all the faces..
Best wishes ..
Larry Searle.

Thanks for the reply, sorry I didn't add the names to the original E- MAIL.
You got the back row correct. The two in the front are; L/R   Ken Napier and Jude Garland..( don't know Jude's real name )
Who took the photo?  Not sure , probably Knuckles Taylor or Peter (fang) Scholz.
Thanks for your interest .    Best wishes. Larry

Yes Pom, it's very strange that you don't remember either Ken or Jude. Maybe you were just pissed for the whole time that you were there??? I think I was.. I was there 23/1/70 to 23/1 / 71.
Fang Scholz, as of four years ago lived at 94 Park Royal Crs, Browns Plains. PH 0738002998. Not sure if he still lives there now.
Do you know where S Grosling's boot is ( he stepped on the M79 blind as we were heading toward the fence late afternoon)  I seem to remember that it went to the Vietnam display at the War Memorial, but I may be wrong.
Thanks again,, Best Wishes , LARRY

The top row was easy for me as they are
Lto R ...Larry Seale, Jack Horward, John Linabury, Dusty Millar
Front L to R I couldn't recall but Larry tells me their, Ken Napier and Jude Garland

Hi Bob

Thought you might like a photo of two old farts, taken in Bundaberg in September 05 . Of Barry Dahl and himself John Paine. It was great to see Barry again and he is travelling well. Keep up the great work on your web page. All the best
John
Just two old farts

My RSL here in Victoria (Nobel Park) have started to do table tops in the members bar with different units badges under resign (clear) which are rapidly becoming talking pieces around other RSL's.

I would like to do one on behave of all R.A.A.F. personal therefore I am asking if in your next newsletter you could put out a call to anyone that has metal or cloth badges that they would like to see made into a piece of history to send them to me at the following postal address

                                                     Warren Barclay
                                                     P.O.Box 301
                                                     Nobel Park   3174

All those making a contribution will have their names engraved onto a metal plate to be placed with the badges  So lets not let this RSL be dominated by army types give them something from us all that proudly served this country with the R.A.A.F so I need unit badges from all that served over in Vietnam and elsewhere I would like to make this the best table within the place.

This RSL has the biggest assembly of Vietnam Vets in Victoria and now we have the other peace keeping troops coming thru.

my collection was destroyed by my EX. that is why I am calling for help in this project

All Badges can be sent C.O.D. if needed.

thank you

As a thought Pom as you seem to have ran out of info to keep the mag on a weekly basis why not do a feature on all the troops that have served under the Adgie banner eg: Photo who they are what they have done thru their life up until this current day would be some good stories out there to share speaking of one I attended at Sunshine combined cadet mess ARMY /R.A.A.F for the dedication of their new mess 22nd of October in attendance was Keith Payne V.C. and of all things an ACTIVE member of the R.A.A.F that being Ray Boulton  w/off sure looks fit which I was that fit any way this is just a thought for the mag mate.

Hi Bob

Link Line have been give a very unique off of having prints done for all Veterans Assoc. this includes or Peace keepers ...those serving in Iraq & Afghanistan and of course our own Vietnam Vets.

These prints will be done at a very small fee, so each Assoc can raise money To assist veterans & their families in times of need , as you know Link Line Inc does.

What we need are copies of the Veterans photos, emailed to me...briefly stating where & when they were taken.

I have enclose one done for the US Vets in Iraq....this has not been released as yet & Mark would like to start our Aussie projects as soon as we receive enough photo....Like 2 Sqdn....all photos will have to be marked 2 Sqn ..9 Sqdn etc...Vietnam ...Iraq or Afghanistan.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS PRINT I HAVE ENCLOSED CAN NOT BE MADE LARGER for anyone wanting to take a copy...These have a copyright on them....& as stated HAVE NOT yet been released in the US
